		<title><![CDATA[What is the MCPS-PRS Alliance?]]></title>
		<description><![CDATA[<p>
The<a href="http://www.mcps.co.uk/" target="_blank"> MCPS</a> and the <a href="http://www.prs.co.uk/" target="_blank">PRS</a> are separate societies. Their income, constitution, membership, guardianship of different rights and responsibilities are different. In order to get the most for their members in terms of facilities and strengths available, they started to work together under the banner of ‘<a href="http://www.mcps-prs-alliance.co.uk/" target="_blank">The MCPS-PRS Alliance’</a>. The alliance has been lobbying for the support of musicians rights since 1998.<br />
